Between the 27th of February and the 1st of March, 2009 Romanian HIV/AIDS Centre organized a CCM meeting as part of its attributes of Secretariat of National Coordinating Mechanism of HIV, TB and Malaria programs. The multiple sessions aimed at creating a suitable draft application for Phase 2 of round 6 of the HIV/AIDS program. Along the two session days representatives of PR R6 and SR outlined the most important aspects to be put inside the application as well as the various modalities of program implementation, as a way of creating partnerships between SR.
Besides the technical discussions, CCM members also submitted for analysis and voting the request forwarded by “Close to you” Foundation Romania to re-enter the structure of the National Coordination Mechanism. Following the unanimity of the votes the request became valid.

- Grant overview, implementing stage, possible difficulties and solutions (PR presentation, comments and discussions).
- Grant continuation, GFATM limits and restrictions determined by activities in Phase 1 (PR presentation, comments and discussions).
- Presentation of draft continuation request.
- Discussion of important aspects of the request.
- Presentation of draft attachments:
- Proposed Attachment 3 to Annex A: Intended Results
- Detailed budget and work plan for year 3.
Session 2
- Introduction of the working groups activity.
- Shaping and consolidating the requested points in the draft attachments inside several working groups as well as settling financial and technical details which ensure the proper functioning of programs implementation in Phase 2 of R6.
March 1st
Session 3
- Presentation of the results obtained by the working groups.
- Further discussions and comments.
- Planning of Phase 2 programs applications.
